Vegetables, brassicas, fruit, maize, tea, grapes and cotton, at up to 16 g/ha, and in pine trees, at 5-25 g/ha.

technical standard

emamectin benzoate is a semi-fermented and semi-synthesized inecticide of avermectin kind. the intermediate emamectin is synthesized under certain conditions using avm as material , then reacted with benzoic acid, and thus we get emamectin benzoate.

it is highly active against many larvae of lepidoptera and some other insects, not ovicidal and can move into plant cuticula through osmosis to form active ingredient. research trals indicate that emamectin benzoate is effective even at very low use rates and is not disruptive to beneficial arthropods in integrated pest management programs(ipm).
